I’ve had the great opportunity of matching my love of creating an environment that effortlessly feels like home with my ability and skill to execute complex projects for discerning clients. This requires a keen focus on every design detail, a thoughtful floor plan with brilliant flow, and a relentless desire to maintain integrity within the space and with the necessary team required to bring the project to life. Scout&co is named after our spirited, loyal, athletic wolf/husky/shepherd rescue mix. We lost Scout a few years ago, and we wanted her spirit to infuse our entire lifestyle brand.  I have lived in many places and traveled even more –7 states, 25 countries and counting – All of this travel has infused my style and design sensibilities, and I’ve had the opportunity to work on projects in: Santa Cruz, Santa Barbara, Tahoe City, Baja Mexico, Leland Michigan, Winter Park Florida, Telluride Colorado, St. Simon Island Georgia, and Key West Florida. My residential projects have ranged from smaller interior design installments to custom, new construction estates, from 3500 sq ft to 7000 sq ft in upwards of $10 plus million. I take great pride with every project and demonstrate diligent persistence to bring consistent values to each unique environment.

Creating Scout & co Lifestyle and Design with my wife Jodie has been the best career choice I ever made.  After years of varied business experiences, the timing was perfect for the formal launch of our own design and lifestyle brand.  Having the ability to run a family business has presented itself with opportunities I never thought possible most importantly being able to spend more time with my family. I am a husband, father to two lovely, zany, talented daughters Lily and Elle, pet rescuer to four mutts and a cat, avid sportsman, music lover, pilot, and former collegiate athlete.  I have held various positions over the course of my career which have taken me all over the world including Hong Kong, Japan, Mexico, Europe, Canada and of course all over the United States. My career also helped nurture my love of travel, people, design and my broad skill set.  Prior to our formal launch of Scout & company I helped build a golf technology company taking a startup company to the prestigious Inc. 500 list of fastest growing private companies two years in a row. As VP of Global Sales, I was able to help grow our business into a household name in the golf industry.  I have worked in technology, automotive, and the sporting goods industries. I received my BA in Political Science from the University of Kansas.
